Even though i believe my studies are getting better i still seem to be suffering from the same problems each time. Even when i try to correct them i dont seem to be getting close to correcting all of my mistakes.

My main issues seem to be in the eyebrows and the hairline above them, the ears position and with the mouth and the hairline above that.

The snout i seems to be a lot closer each time and i have minor issues with the eyes but im slowly starting to fix them.

I believe i may not be making the larger forms strong enough or setting it at the right rotation for all the features and subfeatures to fit the way they should. I will look at that again when i come back to this tomorrow.

What is nice is to see how my drawings are already starting to look alot better then they did 6 posts ago.

Head Construction Continued

 More.

The heads are slowly starting to look more appealing and more solid minor some small errors. Those friggin ears! I need to be more observant of that feature, anyone got any tips for positioning the ear?

This head is to egg shaped

More Head Construction

More studies. Im starting to get a lot more accurate with the standard straight on view.

Now that im starting to understand the fundamental of a straight on view im going to look at the rotation of the same shape. Again, not as eeasy as it looks. I made many errors which i will correct in a new post. There seems to be an occurring problem with the shape of the eyes and the positions on the eyebrows. Im going to look at that further. I believe when i get the overall shape of the head sorted the features will fall into place a lot easier.

I drew this one below a lot larger than the one above. Excluding a couple of inaccuracies it proved to be a lot easier and i believe i was able to put more appeal into the drawing.

Here are studies from today

I seem to be getting better at getting the overall size and solidity of the head shape but features are still proving to be quite a problem. In the third drawing i manage to tie them together a bit better with minor issues. Those bloody ears are proving to be a bit of a nuisance. All good fun though :)

Head construction studies Continued

Damn! I cant get this head right at all, its a right pain in the arse. I don't think I'm analysing it as closely as I should be doing. Maybe I'm drawing it to quickly. hmmm

The head is obviously off but i don't think that is my main problem. I seem to be confused on making the eyes and snout fit on top of the head. Any suggestions guys?

This however is a lot more accurate and solid than it has been in my previous posts. Still looks a little wobbly though.
